'So, I'd really like to do this ad with a magical gnome...' So began my pitch to Humboldt Surfrider. They had a lot of faith in me and let me do this slightly unusual ad ;)

This ad really gave me a chance to get back to shooting a lot. I do so much visual effects work, it seems like I have fewer and fewer opportunities to create ads that are solely image and film based. It was refreshing...and yeah, I squeezed a few visual effects in there as well ;)

Finally got a chance to tinker around with some models I shot about a year ago...Eventually I'll create a short scifi flick!

I've always wanted to do an ad for our local radio station. They took a leap with me and let me try out some animation!

Robert Goodman Winery

This was an interesting project. I really wanted to catch the ambiance of the tasting room and what they're all about. The tasting room is always laden with new local artist so I really wanted to incorporate an artist feel. We played with some fun ink, pen, charcoal and watercolor stuff for this :)

Alves Inc Mash up!

After a long 5 commercial series, my work with Alves Inc is finally complete (for the time being). The blending of motion graphics, live action footage and (of course) lasers, made for an interesting project. Here's a mash-up of the 5 commercials.

Antich Automotive

Yet another foray into stop-motion animation! The background environment was constructed of cardboard and paper. Hotwheels cars were then tediously moved along their separate paths. The mechanics are photo-based models of the actual employees that were later animated via magic computer stuff.
